1. God Loves You! The Bible says, "God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life" The problem is that . . . 2. All of us have done, said or thought things that are wrong. This is called sin, and our sins have separated us from God. The Bible says “All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” God is perfect and holy, and our sins separate us from God forever. The Bible says “The wages of sin is death.” The good news is that, about 2,000 years ago, 3. God sent His only Son Jesus Christ to die for our sins. Jesus is the Son of God. He lived a sinless life and then died on the cross to pay the penalty for our sins. “God demonstrates His own love for us in that while we were yet sinners Christ died for us.” Jesus rose from the dead and now He lives in heaven with God His Father. He offers us the gift of eternal life -- of living forever with Him in heaven if we accept Him as our Lord and Savior. Jesus said "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except by Me." God reaches out in love to you and wants you to be His child. "As many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, even to those who believe on His name." You can choose to ask Jesus Christ to forgive your sins and come in to your life as your Lord and Savior. 4. If you want to accept Christ as Savior and turn from your sins, you can ask Him to be your Savior and Lord by praying a prayer like this: "Lord Jesus, I believe you are the Son of God. Thank you for dying on the cross for my sins. Please forgive my sins and give me the gift of eternal life. I ask you in to my life and heart to be my Lord and Savior. I want to serve you always." Did you pray this prayer?
The glory of the resurrection After spending 3 days at His tomb, He is risen the 3rd day , early Sunday when it was still dawn , leaving the strips of linen & the burial cloth that had been around his head - brought to him by Joseph of Arimathea & Nicodemus for his burial. This was the unmistakable sign for those who went to His tomb that day & saw that the stone had been rolled away; the linen strips & the burial cloth were in the place of the body. When Mary Magdalene went to the tomb & saw the rolled away stone, she thought somebody took the Lord out of the tomb, but the risen Jesus himself talked to her asking: why are you crying ? John 20:15 . But go; tell his disciples and Peter, 'He is going ahead of you into Galilee . There you will see him, just as he told you .' Mark 16:7 And so Jesus, by achieving his resurrection, brought to fruition the first resurrection in our world. That's why He was called the first fruit of those who have fallen asleep . (1corinthinas 15:20 ) It is known that the glory of resurrection that raised Jesus from dead was through the glory of the father Romans 6: 4. For that reason we call it the “glorious resurrection”. We know that Jesus was wearing the human body; that is why Jesus resurrection is counted (from the theological concept) a resurrection to all the humanity who believed in Him. Meaning that The Christ raised from the dead the man with His resurrection – whoever believes – after of course experiencing the death like all those who believes in Him have passed through… Subsequently, it gets obvious to man that Jesus Resurrection was a supernormal accomplishment that all the believing humanity inherited. It was, is & will be always the greatest doing that entered the humanity arena, as it included all believers at all eras & times not only Jesus. What a power! & how influential it is through all times by transforming the terror & the domination of death to a new life triumphant over death & its author: The devil. If the resurrection of one man is counted a triumphant power so how would be counted the resurrection of each one who believes in Jesus & has a new victorious life? For that reason the faith in resurrection that encompassed all believing humanity from the beginning of time till the end of it.; is a repudiation of the devil‘s authority over death & a rebuke against death itself. As Apostle Paul says: 1 Corinthians 15: 55 Where, O death is your victory? Where, O death is your sting? " because the sting of death is Sin & the victory over death is the ascension to heaven. Sin & death (grave) were abolished by Jesus through His resurrection, His ascension to Heaven & his seating at the right of the Father in the heavenly realms. So if Jesus triumphed over the devil & his allies by dying on the cross (see Colossians 2: 15 ) hence by His resurrection he destroyed & stepped on his enemies heads. Bringing life and immortality to light through the gospel (2 Timothy 1: 10 ) He revived His very great and precious promises (2 Peter 1: 4) & he made us heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ (Romans 8: 17 ) So death is no longer an avoidable fear to man but rather a victorious end over the world, its evil & its plots. An interval to see Jesus, to look to His glory and for the delight & the pleasance of The Father
